Oh I don't know how to write a love poem

Especially just for you

Even though I want to

It's strangely hard for me to do

I don't know how to write of romance

In a poem so appealing

To mend all that needs healing

Through pouring out this feeling

I don't know how to write about passion

Poetry about you being sensitive and sweet

About how you swept me off my feet

But just writing rhymes make me feel like a cheat

I don't know how to be a poet for my beloved

Even though you're the reason why I sigh

And I have no clue why

But I want you by my side

So maybe I could ask you, how to write a love poem

Since you are my muse to inspire what can't be spoken

But perhaps I can't because my heart you've stolen
