“Who cares if they see you as gay?”
“Who cares if they see me as straight?”
Words that cut deep, but as they say
Easier said than done, so who are we to berate?
Labels exist to try to help people like me
But labels exist to cause pain anyway
If love is love why can’t we just let it be
Easier said than done, words matter all the same
I’m a confusing anomaly
You’re just getting used to me
Cishetnormativity
Ain’t really the enemy
Call me your woman
Call me your man
Right at this point
I don’t give a damn
I just wanna be yours
I am all yours
Boyfriend is cute
But girlfriend is too
Sweetheart is lovely
But one thing holds true
I just know that I’m yours
I am all yours
Once upon a time it mattered too much to me
Once upon a time actually wasn’t too long ago
Confusion for all and all this pain and misery
But at this point I’m tired and just wanna let it go
I wanna be your everything
See you standing next to me
Whatever makes it easy
Is what I’m willing to be
Call me your woman
Call me your man
Right at this point
I don’t give a damn
I just wanna be yours
I am all yours
Boyfriend is cute
But girlfriend is too
Sweetheart is lovely
But one thing holds true
I just know that I’m yours
I am all yours
When trying and dying to be one thing
Causes more hurt and disinterest for all
What should it matter to me the label
As long as it means you love me whatever I’m called
Call me your woman
Call me your man
Right at this point
I don’t give a damn
I just wanna be yours
I am all yours
Boyfriend is cute
But girlfriend is too
Sweetheart is lovely
But one thing holds true
I just know that I’m yours
I am all yours
I am just yours
Completely all yours
