Two intertwining without asking why

Her lover patted her head

Every time she gave out a sigh

Interested in more than her bed

Reaching her arms around her lover

Tightening her grip as to say

We shall be together forever

Only you can be my night and day

Bringing her feelings on a silver platter

Right in knowing her lover is true

Expecting her heart would never shatter

Alas a lover who wouldn’t dare to do

Sharing an undying love and passion

Trusting in her lover’s gentle touch

Pretending to ignore the common fashion

Realizing she wanted this too much

Everything they knew was right

Seduced by each others’ charm

Shimmering in the moonlit night

Envy could do no harm

Dancing their feet away

Coming together time and again

Love that held each other in a sway

Once clear but now insane

Swept so swiftly off her feet

Entangled with her silky hair

Loving her dearest and sweet

Yearning to keep her stare

Trouble came around each corner

Only when they held each other’s hands

Going about their days even stronger

Endangerment to status by ignoring demand

True there was pain and hardship to be had

Here and there they really cared not

Either way they surely were glad

Romance was in their life’s plot
